Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information pawcarecorner.com (“we”, “us”, the “site”) collects when you visit https://pawcarecorner.com/, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

The site is operated by Kirimas Kersys. If you have any question about this policy, write to dovydas@kirimas.com.

The short version

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We only ask for personal details when you choose to give them — for example by leaving a comment or sending us a message.
  • Like almost every website, we use cookies and third-party advertising, which may involve your data being processed by those third parties.
  • You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Comments. When you leave a comment we store the name, email address and website you enter, the comment text, your IP address and browser user-agent string. This helps us detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to see whether you use it.
  • Contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, email address, subject and message so we can reply. These messages are delivered to our email inbox and are kept there until they are no longer needed.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe to an email list, your email address is stored by our email provider and used only to send the emails you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request and your browser type. This is used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies. Small text files stored by your browser. See the section below.
  • Media. If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data, as other visitors can extract it.

Cookies

Cookies let the site remember things between page loads. We use them for the following purposes:

  • Necessary. WordPress sets cookies when you log in or leave a comment, and our cookie notice stores your choice so we do not ask again.
  • Preferences. Your light/dark reading mode is stored in your own browser.
  • Analytics. We may use an analytics service to understand which articles are read, using aggregated statistics.
  • Advertising. Our advertising partners may set cookies to measure ads and, where permitted, to personalise them.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
  • More about how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking them, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks may use cookies to attribute a purchase to this site. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data may be processed on our behalf by the service providers that keep the site running: our web host, our email provider, our analytics provider, our advertising partners and spam-filtering services. Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep your data

  • Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.
  • Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as they are useful for answering you, and then deleted.
  • For registered users, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit or delete that information at any time (except their username).

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email dovydas@kirimas.com. We will respond within one month.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and we keep the software behind it up to date. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as the law requires. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
